New Canadian Speed Bumps
West Vancouver, Canada apparently isn't satisfied with the original speed-bump. They have developed a new "thing" to slow you down while driving. It's a 3d picture of a little girl with a ball. The painting appears to raise up as you drive closer to it. This is a link to the picture- http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_upshot/20100908/od_yblog_upshot/canada-unveils-new-speed-bump-optical-illusions-of-children As you can see in the picture, the painting looks fairly real and would definattly make you slow down. Do you think these new types of speed bumps will work?

Yes I think that this will work and that it is a very good idea.
ReplyDeleteYes, I do. I think that the picture of the little girl is a better idea than the speed bump.
ReplyDeleteI don't think this will work for long. If people get used to seeing the girl there then people might just go right through the 3D girl and then what happens when a girl is actually crossing the street. The person might just think she's fake and hit her.
